virtual reality environment

When I was working on this project, Galaxy's Edge had just opened at Disneyland. As a senior design student, I had neither the time nor the money to get to that galaxy far, far away. So I decided to make a Star Wars-inspired virtual reality environment instead! I arranged the objects and lighting using Mozilla's Spoke platform. All of the models are open-source, mostly from Google's Polygon library. I used Spoke's particle system to make the animated lasers firing from the X-Wing and Tie Fighter models. Finally, to advertise my new VR attraction, I designed a retro-style poster inspired by NASA JPL's Visions of the Future series. Since congregating in physical spaces isn't currently safe, I think we'll be seeing more VR parties; I'd love to work on more projects like this one.
